NorthStar04273940362 said: "We recently stayed in the Beaumont for our daughter’s wedding on Friday November 24th and on Saturday November 25th and the reception was held here. I would just like to say that from start to finish we couldn’t fault a thing the staff were all excellent and so polite and accommodating and the food was second to none and finally I would just like to single out The master of ceremony Florin who was there for the whole event from early morning until last thing at night and his attention to detail was flawless looking forward to a stay here again in the future."

2.Langley Castle Hotel, Hexham
Andrew S said this month: "Lorna and I picked Langley Castle for our wedding venue and we weren't disappointed, the setting was amazing and the staff helped make our day very special indeed.
As well as our wedding, we decided to have two nights in one of the signature suite's, we were sorry to leave and wished we could have stayed longer, but all good things have to come to and end, but we're looking forward to a return visit, hopefully in the not to distant future.

In October 2023 Sidmoscrop said: "Fantastic stay at Slayley Hall , first class venue for a family wedding with great facilities set in wonderful surroundings.The staff were all excellent and a special mention for Neville who met us at reception and got our luggage to the room, he was very proud of the hotel and his part in making it a special place.

4.Matfen Hall Hotel, Matfen
Gary E in December 2023 said: "WOW!! No words can describe our stay at Matfen hall on New Years Eve. The attention to detail was second to none. From arrival to departure we were looked after by very attentive staff, Micheal especially, who made sure our bags were taken to our room and suits and dresses hung up in the wardrobe. After a nice relax in our beautiful room we changed and went through to the main hall for a champagne reception with canapés, where Micheal was again on hand to take some magical photos for us, ( think he needs to take it up professionally 😊) We then made our way through to the Emerald restaurant for our 5 course gala dinner which was just amazing. After dinner a live band had us whirling around the dance floor until midnight when a magnificent firework display saw in the new year, then dancing until the early hours. We were lucky that we had booked to stay New Year’s Day too and we were so glad we did. We had a lovely relaxing day in the Spa, a swim, and a stint in the steam room rejuvenated us after the evening’s festivities. This hotel has had an amazing makeover and is worth every penny. To the wonderful staff, keep up the good work and to Micheal ( sorry didn’t get your last name) please think about buying a camera and start doing weddings, hopefully you could do ours one day. Thank you Matfen Hall for making our stay so magical.

5.Horton Grange Country House Hotel, Ponteland
In December 2023, Philip T said: "Had a fabulous time at a Christmas party at Horton Grange. The venue was stunning, staff superb, food was really delicious, one of best Xmas meals I have had this year. The disco was great. A perfect night in a gorgeous setting. Well done everyone at Horton Grange."

6.Le Petit Chateau , Otterburn
Heather B, who stayed in March 2024 said: "An absolutely fabulous place to celebrate a wedding. From arriving to leaving we were look after by the staff, MC, Wedding Co-ordinator and everyone one who was there.
Room 6 is the Narnia Room and lived up to its recommendation.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this venue."
