The Northumberland Young Farmers Club (NYFC) has announced this year's entertainment competition which will be held on Sunday, February 5 at The Queen's Hall in Hexham at 3pm.

This is the second competition following the pandemic after a pantomime contest proved to be a huge success.

This year's competition is also running aside the NYFC's 90th anniversary.

A spokesperson said: "Four clubs are competing from across the county and are Cambo, Bellingham, Stamfordham and Whitley Chapel.

"Each club will put on an entertainment show including a variety of performances for example singing, dancing, humour, drama sketches, magic, instrumental performances the list is endless.

"Each club has 30 minutes for their performance.

"The winner of the four performances will go on to represent Northumberland YFC at the northern area round in March."

Tickets for the show are £12, £6 (under 16s, and over 65s).
