A date has been set for a public building to reopen.
On Sunday, November 26 the Playing Field Pavillion in Acomb will be re-opened by Cllr Trevor Cessford to show off the new refurbishment of the building.
The date was announced by Chair of the Acomb Parish Council, Norman Robson, who said:"As many of you will have noticed, the Playing Field Pavilion has been refurbished.

"There is still some external work to do such as new windows and external painting, but it will be officially opened by Cllr Trevor Cessford on Saturday 26th November 2022.
"All are welcome to come along and have a look around."
