A VINTAGE and Classic Vehicle Day will be held on Sunday, April 24 at the Heritage Centre in Bellingham.
Steve Gibbon, Chairman of Trustees, said: "The event was originally the idea of Dorothy Bell MBE, the lady who started the Heritage Centre."
"Dorothy asked Wesley Turnbull if I could get some of my friends with vintage vehicles to come to the centre to help raise funds. That was eighteen years ago, and since then the event has grown into an important date in the vintage community."

"All exhibitors and the public are able to vote for the vehicle that they think is "best turned out"."
"This is a very light hearted part of the day and in the past year some really old vehicles have won the accolade. The winner of this competition is awarded a cup which they keep for one year and a trophy which they can keep," Steve added.
