Natalie Sanderson, a Trustee of the charity, said: "The art studios will be open and they have a further 10 guest makers from the region selling quality handmade art and crafts."

"This is always a popular event, to meet artists, buy art and gifts in an historic building, and have a break in the wonderful Hearth Café."

"Recently refurbished, the centre has a new kitchen, making it a welcoming space for all types of activities. Both resident and visiting artists run craft and art workshops here and it is available to book for private events. The Hearth is partnering with the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme in autumn to host exciting theatre, comedy and music events," she added.

Visitors are asked to book free tickets through the centre's website.

The Hearth is looking for a new Chair of Trustees to lead the charity in its commitment to the arts and community. Anyone interested is asked to get in touch with administrator Ali Wilkes at office@thehearth.co.uk.
