FIVE people were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the A69.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Haydon Bridge at around 2.30pm on Sunday, December 11.
The occupants of all three cars were taken to hospital with suspected minor injuries, police said.
A North East Ambulance Service Spokesman said: "We dispatched three ambulance crews, two rapid response paramedics and the air ambulance to the scene.
"We treated five patients on scene before taking them by road to hospital."
The road was closed in both directions between the B6318 and A6079 near Hexham after the crash but re-opened at around 6.30pm.
