A69 re-opens after multi-vehicle crash (Image: HC)
THE A69 has re-opened following a multi-vehicle crash this afternoon.
Emergency services - including an air ambulance - attended the incident on the eastbound carriageway near Haydon Bridge and the road was closed in both directions between the B6318 and A6079 near Hexham.
National Highways have now confirmed the road has been re-opened.
