MUSIC fans are being told to grab their flares and platform shoes to go back on a musical journey celebrating Sweden’s best export.

Thank ABBA For The Music is a two-hour theatre show celebrating all things ABBA, the iconic pop four-piece from the 1970s, and it will be performed at Hexham’s Queen’s Hall on Saturday evening, March 7.

The tribute act comes complete with a live band in stunning costumes, an interactive video projection and some tongue-in-cheek Swedish humour to keep the party going.

Among the hits to be performed on the evening are Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Take A Chance On Me, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Knowing Me Knowing You, Fernando and Super Trouper.

Guests are invited to come in either ABBA or 1970s-themed fancy dress if interested.

Tickets for Thank ABBA For The Music is available from the Queen’s Hall Box Office.
