THE public are invited along for a sneak peek of what is to come from Tynedale's premier arts and theatre centre.

Queen's Hall, in Hexham, will welcome members of the public into its arts centre for a season preview night on Wednesday, January 22 as it looks ahead of the shows and performances it has coming up.

The evening will include some video snippets of shows, audio tracks of some of the music events and more information on events which will take place.

People are invited to attend the event from 6pm and are invited to stay on after the presentation where they can meet staff and trustees of Queen's Hall at a drinks reception.

There is plenty for guests to preview with an action packed schedule of events planned for the coming months at Queen's Hall.

Later this month, well-known antiques dealer David Harper, famous for his stints on Bargain Hunt and Antiques Roadtrip, will return for his one man show.

February promises to be a busy month with the much anticipated GUY: A New Musical to be performed in the Tyne Valley.

The production has been described as a cross between Queer as Folk and Bridget Jones, and has caused a stir nationally.

Also making appearances next month will be award-winning magician Ben Hart, a finalist in last year's Britain's Got Talent, and world-renowned comedian Simon Brodkin, who is best known for his alter ego, prankster Lee Nelson.

The event is free of charge but people need tickets to attend, which can be booked by contacting the Queen's Hall Box Office or by visiting the centre's website at
