A HEARTWARMING folk story about friendship and bravery is coming to the Tyne Valley.

As part of Highlights Rural Touring Scheme, Half a String theatre company brings Under the Frozen Moon to Bardon Mill and Henshaw Village Hall.

In the cold town of Nunavut, a greedy dragon has gobbled every fire and every light leaving only the glow of the frozen moon. The story follows young Amka as she sets out determined to confront the dragon herself. The show features transforming sets, puppetry and music.

The show will run on Sunday, December 29 at 2.30pm.
