THREE of the UK’s leading chamber musicians will perform to a Tyne Valley audience.

On Friday, November 15, the Zimro Trio will head to Queen’s Hall, in Hexham, at 7.30pm.

Formed in 2006, the trio consists of Neyire Ashworth on the clarinet, pianist Daniel Becker and Paul Barritt on the violin and viola. Paul is also well-known to North-East music fans from his days as leader of the Royal Northern Sinfonia.

The concert includes new work by Huw Watkins, who was the composer-in-residence and pianist at last year’s Corbridge Chamber Music Festival.
