STAFF at an historic Tynedale castle are preparing stage an immersive horror experience for Halloween

The 1350 castle is famous for its claimed ghostly sightings of the Grey Lady, Maud de Lucy, thought to have thrown herself from a window.

On October 31, the castle will host its own game of Dungeons and Dragons, with a spooky twist.

Lead by game master Chris Hately, the night’s entertainment will start with a collaborative storytelling extravaganza, where players adopt characters.

Players will also enjoy a three-course meal before the game master reveals more details ahead of the night of mystery.

At nightfall, fantasy role-playing will commence, with the power of storytelling, ability to survive horrors, and unpredictable dice-rolling the key to staying in the game.
