HIS unusual style of entertainment won him a place in the final of America’s Got Talent, and he is now spreading his show across the globe.

And internationally-recognised Tape Face has included the Tyne Valley as a place to visit as he will perform at Hexham’s Queen’s Hall on Tuesday evening.

The New Zealand comic mime artist was a hit performer during the 2016 version of America’s Got Talent, impressing British judge Simon Cowell.

Tape Face, previously known as the Boy with Tape on his Face, is an internet star too with his videos being viewed by more than 50 million people online.

His name was well-known in the UK, too, and he was asked to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in 2011.

Tuesday’s performance in Hexham though promises new jokes and new props.

He will not be the only familiar face performing that night as Jonny Awsum, who made the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2017 with his musical comedy act, has been confirmed as the support act to warm the crowd up.

The show will get under way at 7.3opm on Tuesday.
