THE Easter break is often full of egg-hunting fun and spring days out with the children, but it can become tricky for parents to find things to keep their little ones entertained.

But Hexham’s Queen’s Hall has that covered this weekend, offering an interactive storytelling experience which will certainly prevent them from getting bored.

On Sunday, Mischief and Mystery in Moomin Valley will see magical puppetry, an ingenious set, original music and interactive play delight young audiences.

Aimed at those aged four to seven years, the brand new children’s theatre show will encourage children to immerse themselves in the participatory story-telling experience.

Families can expect snow, surprises and plenty of Moomin mischief.

The event will run from 11am to 2pm with tickets available on the Queen’s Hall website or via the box office.
