SANTA will again be paying a visit to the children of Tynedale ahead of the big day.

With thanks to Tynedale Lions, Father Christmas will visit communities across the Tyne Valley.

Over the years, Santa’s appearance has been a big hit with the district’s young people and helps get them more excited for Christmas.

The villages of Wall and Humshaugh are first on his list of places to head to on Saturday, with a visit of Haydon Bridge planned the following day.

He will be in Hexham on Monday and Tuesday, before moving on to Slaley on Wednesday.

Santa will finish the week by visiting Fourstones and Newbrough on Thursday and Friday respectively.

The visits will run right up to Christmas Eve, with Stocksfield and Mickley on the list next Saturday and Acomb on Sunday.

He will return to Hexham on Monday, December 17, and will then head to Corbridge for three days between Wednesday, December 19 and Friday, December 21.

He will return to Corbridge on Thursday, December 23, and Christmas Eve after visiting Stocksfield on Saturday, December 22.
