VISITORS to The Sill will have the chance to learn about a certain eight-legged creepy crawly this weekend.

A series of drop-in sessions, entitled The Secret Life of Spiders, are running from 11am until 2pm on Sunday as part of The Sill Sundays programme.

The programme allows visitors to learn more about Northumberland National Park. Members of the rangers team will teach visitors facts about spiders, so it’s probably not the best session for arachnophobes.

Afterwards, visitors will have the chance to get crafty and make their own spider to take home with them.

There is a charge for the session, payable on the day.
