TYNEDALE have another tough away day on Saturday when they travel down to Yorkshire to face Otley, one of National Two North’s in-form teams.

The Yorkshiremen have won six of their last seven matches, with the only blemish on their record in the last two months being a 38-27 defeat at league leaders Macclesfield.

Last Saturday, they won 30-22 at South Leicester, after dominating the first half to lead 27-7 at the break.

The team is also coming to terms with the fact that another of the club’s backroom boys, first team manager Peter Simpson, is leaving the role due to work commitments.

The search is now on for someone to fill Peter’s shoes, with details of the requirements of the job available on the club website.
