A free event will take place to attract more females to a watersport.
Kielder Waterski Wakeboard Club, based at Kielder Water and Forest Park, will host a free Ladies' Event Day in September.
Club chairman Paul Smith said: "Following the success of last year's event, where we had 58 individuals who were new to water skiing and of all ages attending, this year we're holding a one-day Ladies' Event Day which will take place from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, September 15. We will have tuition in wakeboarding and water skiing."

Of the 58 people who attended last year's Just Add Water & Ski, he estimated 60 per cent were females.
"Coupled with that, the British Waterski Federation is trying to attract more females to the sport," he added.
All equipment and instruction will be provided.
