England football fans in the region have admitted they’re weary of the side’s opponents in the later stages of Euro 2020.

Gareth Southgate’s side – who defeated Ukraine 0-4 in a convincing win in the Quarter Final last night, will now go up against a spirited Denmark side after they defeated the Czech Republic in the other game to take place on Saturday.

However, with the country starting to believe that football might well and truly be coming home, two fans aren’t sure the game will be as comfortable as many people think.

“I’m not sure,” said Adam Archibald who was watching the game in Haltwhistle if England could go all the way.

“Lets be happy with what we’ve got however there are a lot of good teams out there.

“We’ve had a good run.

“We beat Germany and Ukraine was a bit of an easy one.”

“Italy has gone through who beat Belgium - I would have rather played Italy than Belgium (anyway).

“We can’t go into it thinking it’s a doddle”

The idea of caution was echoed by fellow fan Josh Keith who believed the game on Wednesday will be a tricky test, while the final could be even more difficult.

“Denmark have nothing but heart - maybe not the best talent but maximum heart,” said Josh.

“I’d rather play Italy in the final than Spain – they’re unpredictable.”
