Tyne Valley footballer Cedwyn Scott has signed for National League North side Gateshead following his exit from Carlisle United.
The 22-year-old striker has signed a deal with the North East side until the end of next season after he was released by the Cumbrian League Two squad a few days earlier.
Scott, who grew up in Tynedale, made a total of seven appearances for the Blues this season, although they were all from the substitutes bench.
The striker failed to make an impression with Carlisle after signing from non-league Hebburn Town in January.
He had previously scored 22 goals in only 17 appearances for the Northern League Division One side.
Prior to his move to the International Stadium, Scott had been offered the chance to spend pre-season with the Blues.
