Hull City’s George Honeyman was named in the League One Team of the Season at the EFL Awards last week.
Prudhoe-born Honeyman, who scored in his side’s 3-1 win against Wigan Athletic to secure the title on Saturday afternoon, is one of two Hull players to have been named in the XI.
The 26-year-old - one of the standout players in the league this year - has now assisted 13 and scored four goals throughout the campaign for The Tigers.
Honeyman’s manager Grant McCann was named as the manager of the season in the division after guiding his side to promotion in the awards that took place last Thursday.
The playmaker did however miss out on being named player of the season, with Peterborough United striker Jonson Clarke-Harris being given the award after scoring 31 goals in just 45 games.
Honeyman and Hull’s final game of the season is against Charlton Athletic on Sunday afternoon.
