OVER 40 local businesses and individuals have contributed to a pool of sponsorship for a local cricket club.
Hopes are high for a normal season at Stocksfield Cricket Club and plans are underway for centenary celebrations after an upsurge in local support.
For the first time this year, the club launched individual player sponsorship, with companies benefitting from social media post exposure throughout the season.
Street food organisers Event North have signed up as the main club sponsor for the coming season, while Kelly Norman's Wellness Therapeutics Physiotherapy logo will feature on the club's travel kit.
The ladies teams will continue into 2021 with the support of Summers-Inman Construction, who have now also taken under their wing the talented, increasing U14 girls squad.
