HUMSHAUGH II were on top of their game as they defeated Stocksfield by five wickets.

Stocksfield were restricted to 81 runs despite a good start from Andrew Cope (18) and James Bradshaw (16). Stephen Smith (10) also made double figures.

For Humshaugh, Watson (4-14) impressed with the ball, with Conrad Thorpe (2-15) and Duncan Sewell (1-4), Glen Tweddle (1-12) and Adam Murphy (1-15) also taking wickets.

A second wicket partnership between Glen Tweddle (22) and Jason Arnup (27no) steered Humshaugh to victory.

Finn Jackson (2-27) and Fenwick Norton (1-19) and Alfie McGray (1-29) took wickets as Humshaugh won by five wickets.

Allendale defeated Medomsley as they restricted them to just 69 runs. However, they didn’t have it all their own way.

Medomsley had Jack Sanderson (10) and Matthew Curtiss (15) make double figures only.

Andy Mason (5-13) took centre stage with the ball for Allendale, while David Welch (2-10) and Josh Millins (2-22) made their marks too.

Allendale started steadily courtesy of Phil Sheldon (15) and John Raglan (20) but they stuttered to success with only Millins (10) and Mason (9no) many any telling contributions.

Medomsley removed eight opponents with Jordan Bell (5-19) claiming five and Luke Murray (3-15) the other three.
