Coronavirus: Racing suspended at Hexham
HEXHAM Racecourse has cancelled its Spring Raceday, which was scheduled for Tuesday, March 24.
In light of the coronavirus outbreak, the venue initially announced that the event would take place behind closed doors.
But following new advice from the British Horseracing Authority, all racing will now be suspended until the end of April.
It comes less than a week after Hexham Racecourse had to cancel its Cheltenham Festival Raceday, last Thursday.
