WYLAM Black Bull staved off a fight back from Barrasford to collect all three points in Division Two.

Two goals from man of the match Teo Birsan and one from Jordan Phillips put Bull well in control at 3-0 up, but they were made to work hard for the victory as the game finished 4-3 in their favour.

Jamie Noutch scored two and Hamish Forsyth one for Barrasford, but they weren’t able to pinch a point with Sam Mannion also finding the back of the net for Wylam.

For visitors Barrasford, Robert Oliver starred.

A double from man of the match Glen Tweddle helped Hexham Hearts to three points, they also on the right end of a 4-3 scoreline.

He was joined on the scoresheet by teammates Jordan Teasdale and James Yeend, meaning two goals from Crawcrook Rising Sun’s star man Connor Collins and one from Taylor Parker were in consolation for the hosts.

League leaders Crawcrook Social Club progressed to the semi-finals of the divisional KO Cup as they disposed of Hexhamshire.

Jack Henderson scored twice and Ross Thompson and Dean Hall once each during the 4-1 victory, in which Josh Banks impressed.

Jordan Dodwell netted for Hexhamshire, who were best served by Sam Martin.
