ENTRIES for the Mini Great North Run - for girls and boys aged 3-8 - will open on Tuesday morning at 10am.
The popular event will take place on Saturday, September 12, and will be a precurser to the main senior event, on Sunday, September 13.
Demand for the mini run is expected to be high, especially as the Great North Run celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
Entries opened last week for the junior run, for girls and boys aged 9-10, which will also take place on Saturday, September 12.
