PONTELAND Blacks were indebted to a last minute equaliser from skipper Rhys Johnson at home to Hazlerigg.

The hosts were in control at half time after a Joseph Nicholson double either side of an Omar Tumia header saw them go three up.

But the visitors were much improved in second half and looked to have earned all three points until Johnson’s late strike made it 4-4. Man of the match was Charlie Rigg.
