A GROUP of teenage footballers are sporting a bright new kit thanks to a sponsorship package from a Newcastle-based housebuilder.
Bellway North East donated £500 to Stocksfield Football Club to enable 24 new kits to be purchased for their U15 teams.
The club have a team at that age level which play on Saturdays, and a separate team on Sundays.
Jonathan Dodgeon, coach of Stocksfield FC Under 15s, said: “Bellway has supported us for a number of years, and we are very glad to continue this relationship with them.
“The kits with the Bellway logo have always been worn with pride by the boys.
“To us, Bellway represents a large, successful and prominent values-based business in the North East.
“As a grassroots football club, we really identify with these attributes and are proud to have Bellway as our sponsor.”
