SATURDAY was billed as a big one for the district's Northern Alliance football teams, with two derby matches set to take place.
However, all three matches involving local sides have been postponed due to wintry conditions.
The postponed fixtures are: Haltwhistle Jubilee v Hexham; Wallington v Prudhoe YC Seniors (both in the George Dobbins League Cup); and Ponteleland United v Whitley Bay Reserves (Bay Plastics Premier Division).
