AFTER three consecutive draws in Division Two, Hexham and District Sunday League newcomers Wark earned their first league win in a 12-goal thriller at Wylam Black Bull.

Being pegged back at 5-5 after looking home and hosed while leading 5-2, they finally picked up their first maximum points by secruing a 7-5 triumph.

Ryan Gardner, Will Forsyth and Alex Wright all hit doubles, with Harry Davidson also registering. Jack Darcy was named as man of the match.

Jordan Phillips hit a hat-trick for Wylam, with man of the match Sam Mannion and an own goal also chalked on the scoresheet.

A treble from star man Brennan Turner helped Crawcrook Social Club to a 4-2 victory over Ponteland Cairn Group Hotel. David Mitchell was also on target.

For Ponteland, Shaun Heads and Abtin Zafarani found the back of the net, and Jonny Smith impressed.

Man of the match Thomas Wilkie scored twice, and Dan Kirkup, Rob Hayes, Ollie Cartwright and Jamie Ellwood once each as Bardon Mill defeated Riding Mill 6-1 in the President's Cup. Paul Britten hit a reply and Owen Graham was named star man for Riding Mill.
