In the Pin Point Women’s league, an injury hit Wylam Rockettes Women were beaten 12-1 at home to Cramlington Juniors Women, with Emma Bowden on target for Wylam. 

Wylam Falcons U13 girls were 5-0 winners over Hexham. Midfielders, Shinade Creighton, Rose Curry, and Freya Neal went close to scoring against a speedy Hexham defence, backed up by superb goalkeeping. 

Solid defending from Isla Dalby, Ruby Roberts and Lauren Leech, protected Kodi Norman with little to do in the Wylam goal.

Corners taken by Ruby created a goal for herself, and two further goals converted by Iona. There was a dazzling finish from Eve Huddlestone who scored a well placed penalty. 

Wylam Rockettes U12 Girls enjoyed a dazzling 7-0 win over Montagu. From the opening minute, the Rockettes took control, and creating several chances. 

Once the first goal went in, others followed. Sam Ross, Lucy Glenwright, Anne Phillipson, Ruby Render, and Amber Goldwater all found the net during the course of what ended up being a very one-sided game. 

In the Saturday Pin Point League, Ponteland Blacks U15 lost 9-3 at Throckley Magpies. Joseph Nicholson scored a hat-trick while man of the match was Wes Scott.

Ponteland Munich won 10-0 at North Shields Athletic. Munich opened their account in the league for the season with a convincing performance at North Shields.

There were six goals for man of the match Joseph Nicholson, three for strike partner Ben Kershaw, and one for the hard working Rhys Johnson.

Ponteland Dynamos U12 got the better of Wylam Rockettes in their encounter with Wylam Rockettes. 

There was a memorable double from Lucy Whitfield, while Izzy Robson and Lucy Milburn scored one each. 

Ponteland goalkeeper Mia Simpson impressed with some vital saves to keep Wylam at bay.
