UNDERDOGS Wallington progressed in the Reeves Independent George Dobbins League Cup thanks to a brace from in-form Sam Walton.
The 26-year-old scored both goals in the green’s 2-0 away win at Red Row Welfare.
The match saw Northern Alliance Division Two side Wallington faced with a tough trip to a team riding high in Division One.
But thanks to an impressive all-round team performance, the side based at Scots Gap are in the hat for the second round draw. Wallington will travel to Shankhouse in the Team Valley Carpets Challenge Cup, on Saturday.
