HALTWHISTLE'S return to the Northern Alliance resulted in three points.

Jubilee had been pegged back twice by Cramlington Town in their opening game of their Division Two campaign, but returned west with maximum points after securing a 3-2 victory on Wednesday evening.

In Division One, Hexham made it two wins from two games with a slender 4-3 success at home to Bedlington.

It was a similar story for divisional rivals Prudhoe Youth Club, too, as they drew for the second time in the space of a week by sharing four goals with visiting Rothbury.

Ponteland United's season in the Premier Division started with a 4-1 victory at Cullercoats, but Wallington started with defeat by the only goal away at New Fordley.

Ponteland United Reserves and Development League opponents Heaton Stannington A couldn't break the deadlock as they played out a goalless draw.
