HALTWHISTLE’S second team won the Division Two Knock-out Cup after getting the better of Humshaugh’s second string.

And they had Robert Graham to thank for a superb five-wicket haul, and a steady batting performance.

Ed Crawford top scored with 25 for Humshaugh II, who were restricted to 111-9. Graham took 5-26 and Ben Cousins 2-20. In reply, Haltwhistle opener Jonny Wallace was bowled by Duncan Sewell, after notching up a tidy 31 runs. S. Marsh and Graham were 45 and 19 not out respectively, and no further wickets fell, as Haltwhistle reached 112-1. Despite having plenty of wickets to spare, Haltwhistle were made to work for 19.1 overs to secure the silverware.
