A PROMISING young rugby player who represented Tynedale last season is preparing to make his debut for Scotland U20.
The back row is expected to line up against South Africa on the opening day of the U20 World Championship, in Argentina, on Tuesday.
Newcastle Falcons player Marshall was one of several young Falcons who played for Tynedale on a dual contract basis last season.
A statement on Tynedale RFC's Facebook page said: "Many congratulations to Tom Marshall making his debut for Scotland U20 in the U20 World Championship. Go well Tom."
