A PROLIFIC golfing duo have won a prestigious trophy for a record seventh time.
Tynedale Golf Club’s PGA professional Martin Forster, and his regular amateur partner, Ritchie Kendrick, competed in the Northumberland and Durham Golf Alliance competition at a very testing Rockcliffe Hall Golf and Country Club at Darlington.
The good weather played into the pair’s hands as they won the coveted Hardy Greenfield Trophy after posting a nine-under par score of 43 points.
The high points tally was enough for the pair to finish well ahead of the chasing pack and add a record seventh trophy to their names.
