A JUNIOR football team has capped its first season by earning promotion to Division Two of the Pin Point League.
Haydon Bridge U13 finished in second place behind Cleveland Hall, and one point ahead of Wallsend BC Greens in Division Three.
The team played 11, won eight, drew one and lost two. Consistent impressive attacking play also saw them score 45 goals over the course of the season.
The season’s most impressive performance came away to Killingworth Young People’s Club, where the Bridge won 7-1.
The team trains every Friday night at their home ground at Low Hall Park in Haydon Bridge, and includes players from Elsdon, Alston, and west of Haltwhistle.
