A DRAMATIC late winner saw Haltwhistle Jubilee win the Tyneside Amateur Shield last Saturday.
With a penalty shoot-out looming, Jack Currah's towering injury-time header sealed a 2-1 victory over Gosforth Bohemian Reserves.
The match, which also included a free kick from Greg Irwin, and some crucial saves from goalkeeper Laim Blair, also saw Haltwhistle complete a memorable double.
They added the shield to the Tyneside Amateur League title they wrapped up on April 12.
The performance saw Haltwhistle named Team of the Week.
A special mention also goes to Allendale Terriers, who achieved their own league and cup double in the Pin Point Junior Saturday Football League, at U11 level.
Slaley's teenage runner Daniel Joyce finished ahead of competitors from across the region to succeed in the North East Grand Prix, winning the U17 1,500m at Monkton Stadium in Jarrow.
Joyce's performance saw him named Star of the Week.
