The current crop of young netball stars at Prudhoe's Highfield Middle School have made history.
The U13 team have become Northumberland county champions, after defeating Blyth's Bede Academy 16-6 in the grand final.
It was Highfield's first success in the competition, and the performance saw them named Team of the Week.
Most people would be happy to complete the 25-mile Allendale Challenge once, but endurance sport enthusiast Steven Blair ran the testing course twice in one day.
His achievement, while training for the Spartan Peak Death Race in America, saw Steven named Star of the Week.
A special mention goes to Prudhoe kayaker Zac Allin, who has made a remarkable comeback from injury to reclaim his place in the Great Britain U23 team.
Two sets of siblings are also worthy of note. Darras Hall's Joseph Anderson, his sister Georgia, and brother, Jack; and Slaley pair Ralph and Tabitha Robson, all earned Great Britain call-ups for their achievements in biathle.
