YOUNG badminton pair Charlotte Graham and Amy Ward won gold medals at a national event in York on Saturday.
Their success came in the U17 Badminton England Bronze Circuit girls’ doubles tournament. The victory included impressive wins over two top Yorkshire pairs.
Charlotte, from Hexham, and her Northumberland county teammate Amy, have now earned four national circuit event gold medals this season.
In January, the pair were silver medallists in the Badminton England U15 event at Thornaby.
Since last September, Charlotte has picked up a total of 26 medals across age groups from U15 to U19.
The Hexham teenager has also recently starred for Northumberland U16 in two recent victories against Yorkshire and Cumbria.
