FREE scoring Haltwhistle Jubilee started the New Year as they finished the previous one - with another goal-fest in the Tyneside Amateur League.
The Jubes cruised past Wallsend Boys Club Senior Development with a 9-1 win at the Burn Field.
Haltwhistle were 6-0 up at half time, following two strikes from Greg Irwin, two for Jack Barker, and one each for man of the match Billy Rogan and James Charteries.
Paul Wilson scored a seventh in the second half, before Irwin completed his hat-trick.
Norman Calvert got himself on the scoresheet to compete the rout.
Haltwhistle currently occupy third place in the Tyneside Amateur League on 31 points from 12 games.
