BARDON Mill Bowes Lyons are living up to their billing as favourites for the Hexham and District Sunday Leauge title.

For they maintained their 100 per cent league record by inflicting a 4-1 defeat on leaders, and last year's treble winners, Prudhoe Town.

Division Two leaders Ryton Michelangelo's settled for a point at Rose and Crown Bellingham despite leading 3-0.
