PRUDHOE Town bounced back from two successive defeats to return to the top of Division One.

They put double figures past struggling Haydon Bridge Anchor during their 10-3 triumph, with Ste Forster leading the way with a hat-trick.

Man of the match Sam Moore, Sam Mannion and Brad Rodgers all scored two, with Brandon Smith getting the other. For Bridge, man of the match Kieran Robley scored all three goals.

The team at the top of the two divisions met in the Pickworth Cup, and it was Division One pace setters Bardon Mill Bowes Lyons who progressed as they put six without reply past Division Two leaders Ryton Michelangelo’s.

Dan Kirkup scored two and he was joined on the scoresheet by man of the match Rob Hayes, Jack Currah, Ollie Cartwright and Jordan Norris. Michael Lowery starred for Ryton.

Hexhamshire battled back from going behind to Division Two promotion candidates Riding Mill on three occasions to earn a share of the spoils.

Dale Dodds gifted Mill an early lead, but an own goal levelled the scoring. Matty Bloomer then scored twice, but his goals were sandwiched between strikes from Josh Dodwell and Dan Miller as the game ended 3-3.

Jonathan Dodds impressed for Riding Mill, with Michael Castelow man of the match for Shire.

A last minute winner from Ash Taylor saw Crawcrook Social edge out Hexham Hearts 4-3.

Luke Watson scored two and Micky Bilclough one for Crawcrook, best served by John Ellison, cancelling out goals from Nathan Kirk, Aaron Smith and man of the match Joe Shepherd.
