HUMSHAUGH'S cricketers completed a remarkable season by winning a fourth trophy.
They defeated Benwell Hill on Sunday to lift the Northumberland Tyneside League's Appleby Cup.
Opening batsman Hedley Renton was on top form as Humshaugh successfully chased down a target of 84.
The victory saw Humshaugh complete two league and cup doubles for the season, having already won the C division of the Northumberland and Tyneside League.
The season also saw Humshaugh clinch the West Tyne League division one title, and knock-out cup.
