LIAM Blair was the hero as Haltwhistle Jubilee lifted the Clayton Cup following a dramatic final on Friday.
Haltwhistle and Ponteland United were locked together at 0-0 after 90 minutes.
But in the penalty shoot-out which followed, goalkeeper Blair saved three vital spot kicks as his side won 8-7 on penalties.
It was sweet revenge for the Jubes, who lost 5-0 against the same opposition in last year's final.
Contested during the summer, the historic Clayton Cup has been contested by local football teams for generations.
