RECORD numbers turned out to enjoy the glorious Bank Holiday weather at Northumberland County Show on Monday.
Organisers said over 27,000 visitors attended - the largest crowd to turn out in the show's five years of being held at Bywell, near Stocksfield.
The main arena was packed with entertainment throughout the day, before the big winners in the livestock classes took part in the grand parade at 3.30pm.
One of the main attractions was the Atkinson Action Horses, which was greeted by huge cheers as riders performed impressive stunts on horseback.
A four page spread of the best pictures from this year's Northumberland County Show will appear in this week's Hexham Courant, which is on sale on Thursday.
