A PRUDHOE youngster will have her Christmas card design sent out across Tynedale and further afield this year – including to the Prime Minister.
Prudhoe Castle First School pupil Brooke Foster was the winner of Hexham’s MP Guy Opperman’s Christmas card competition.
Year 3 pupils from primary and first schools across the constituency were asked to submit their festive designs to Mr Opperman.
Brooke’s Christmas snow globe design came in first place, and it will now be turned into the Hexham constituency Christmas card and sent to thousands of people.
The runners-up were Lily Macaulay from Ovingham First School for her number 10 door design and Freya Villiers-Stuart, of Whitfield Primary School, whose card featured an ice-skating penguin.
