A PUBLIC meeting is set to take place next week about the future of The Tans restaurant in Hexham.
Last month it was announced Hexham-based charity the Hextol Foundation would be taking over the premises on St Mary’s Chare, which provides services to people with mental health problems.
Hextol’s chief executive, Chris Milner, is due to speak at the meeting, hosted by Judy Lloyd, who led the campaign to save The Tans. It will take place in the Wilfrid Room, in Hexham Abbey Visitor Centre, at 7pm on Thursday, November 26.
