FASCINATING discoveries made during a recent renovation of Hexham Abbey will be revealed to the public during a one-off day of tours, workshops and storytelling this summer.
The renovation saw Grade I listed buildings at the historic site restored and opened to the public.
And the project has also led to the discovery of treasures which have helped historians and archaeologists learn more about the Abbey’s 1,300 year past.
Hexham Abbey Revealed: A Day School will take place on Saturday, July 8. For more information, contact Toni Bush on (01434) 611905.
