A WOMAN is in hospital following a collision on the A69 near Melkridge.
However, her injuries have not been described as life threatening, following the crash between a car and a lorry, on Monday.
Northumbria Police attended the scene of the crash, but did not close the road. Officers have appealed for information.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: "At around 4.09pm on July 30, police received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a car and an HGV on the A69 near Melkridge.
"Emergency services attended the scene and a 36-year-old female was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one else was injured.
"If you have any information about this incident, please contact police by calling 101 and quoting log 740 of July 30, 2018."
